Friendly service. Delicious chowder bread bowl. Excellent fish and chips. Tasty tarter and plenty of horseradish in the cocktail sauce. Good tap list. Fun atmosphere that was kid friendly.

What a lovely place. Service was great. They’ve got 3 different areas for dining: patio, bar & restaurant. And that makes it very appealing. I was just passing through and had the best fish & chips I’ve had on the coast. Not to mention that service is fast, so food is hot. Much appreciated!

Food was really good. I don't feel it was what we paid for but it was super good. Fun cool place and nice waitress.

My husband and I were craving fish and chips. Based on a recommendation from a local, we headed to The Boat Fish and Chips. We arrived at 7:30 and found out that they closed at 8. We asked if we could still order, and they said, "Sure! Have a seat!" We ordered a cup of Clam Chowder and both the small orders of Cod Fish and Chips and Halibut Fish and Chips. They were absolutely fabulous! Great service and great food! I would definitely recommend this restaurant when in Coos Bay

Excellent food, excellent service, very relaxed atmosphere. I walked in 30 before they were going to close and they were more than happy to serve me and my wife. I had the cod and chips. My wife had the halibut and chips and clam chowder. Both dished were awesome!

Great cod and fries, oyster shooter was ok, and not much clam in the chowder. We had a party of 8 and we were served within 20 minutes. Our server Janet was quick and nice. 😋🐟 🍟 Edit: Came back 2 years later. Still pretty good food, I had street tacos and the wife had halibut. Sticking to my guns on the lack of clam in the chowder, but still worth stopping in.

My Server was really great. He was kind, attentive and very professional. The food was fine, crispy 🍟 fries are not easy to find and they did them well. Beer was cold. Atmosphere is pleasant. No menu inside, just sit and see the menu under the glass on the table, saves time and keeps them very clean. Brilliant...
