Best pizza place by far and I hate pizza! You have a new fan for life! I live on the Southshore but I will be stopping in to eat here EVERY time I am on this side! We ordered every pizza on the menu and personalized ones too. Service was fantastic!
Awesome, food & service! Was a regular more than 15 years ago and moved away but tried again and it was just as good! Always on our list when in town. A must try!!

Best pizza around. Since I've eaten there pizza can't eat any other. Reminds me of a pizza I ate at as a kid. Crust a+ an sauce a+ an cheese a+ = GREAT PIZZA.

The best pizza in the area. Always great food and great atmosphere. Kids love watching them throw the dough and make the pizzas. Old school pizza joint with a great selection on the jukebox to boot. We always take our guest to eat here from out of town and haven't once heard a complaint. It's always requested upon their return to visit us.

GREAT PIZZA & GREAT EXPERIENCE

My first experience with Pizza Man is thoroughly a remarkable one. I walked in 30mins before close and expected contempt hidden by fake smiles; what I received was something all together different. I was immediately waved at by the "Pizza Man" and when I walked up to the counter I was greeted by an exceedingly kind woman. I told her it was my first time and I asked what was good. She kindly educated me on what they offered and introduced me to the idea of an olive oil based pizza; something I had never even known existed. In order to get the best variety out of my experience I ordered a half-Wow and Half-Board, to go. While waiting for my pizza I witnessed a little girl, standing on a chair, watching the "Pizza Man" make the pizzas and toss flour at the window, playfully. Once the pizza was in the oven he dazzled her with a flawless juggling performance. She then got to sit down to her pizza in which she was ecstatic to finally get to taste. I waited for another few minutes and before I knew it, my pizza was being personally delivered to me by the "Pizza Man", whom introduced himself as Dustin. He inquired as to how I had heard of the place and we exchanged pleasantries before I took my pizza home. When I tried the pizza was thoroughly impressed. I never realized how overwhelming the red sauce in a pizza was until that moment. The explosion of flavors was exciting and new. I preferred the Board over the Wow but both were amazing in their own rights.
I score 4.5 on "Pizza Man" mostly for experience and unique recipes and style. There is always room for improvement but if your only complaint is that your pizza is floppy(probably from being covered with olive oil) then use a fork. The flavors and textures are still amazing. If you want to eat something as stiff as a cardboard then chain restaurants are for you.
Was a regular for years, stopped after a bad experience. Just went back and gave it a try again. Very friendly staff, pizza, this time, was spot on!! Excellent! Will be back.
Our family has been coming here for years and we absolutely love it!!! They hands down have the best pizza ever. Our favorite is the Board! They love to interact with the kids while they watch through the window as they make the pizzas. Also, we love the waitress, Terry, that works there as well. She always remembers what we like and is so good with the kids as well. I definitely recommend this restaurant!
This place is awesome and doing something right because they have been there for decades. They always are packed, and the guys in the kitchen really put on a good show to entertain the kids while they make the pizzas. A great family place for all ages.
We finally found our pizza place on the northshore! The Wow pizza was amazing and the kids really liked the pepperoni pizza and the cheese pizza. The owner, who is behind the glass making the pizzas, was pretty good entertainment as well. I highly recommend this place for dine in or take out.
REAL New York style pizza... Don't fall for the imitators out there that call themselves NY style, this place is the real deal! Best pizza Ive had since moving to Louisiana 3 years ago!
I love this place. I have eaten here since I was a little kid. My parents brought me here for my first time when I was a little boy. I used to love watching the guys make the pizzas. Great restaurant with great staff.
