Ordered a beef and shrimp sizzler hot plate. The food was so hot and delicious. I would definitely return for another hot and steamy plate.

Had a great Sunday lunch with family at Stalvey's Fine Food in Covington, Georgia this past weekend. Good southern cooking for country fried steak, green beans and okra. If you like fish then they have grilled fish on the menu as well as chicken tenders and steaks. Prices are very reasonable and good family atmosphere with kids. Lot's of old school decorations and has a separate bar area for the adults to enjoy a drink together. Give it a try and take a break from the fast food places in town. Shop local and support small businesses in Covington.

The food was good. The server was very kind and attentive. The service level was like we had gone back in time, just excellent service. In addition to my entree, there were many great sides to choose from. This is a very comfortable family restaurant. I really enjoyed it.

Decided to try this as the location in our area that was owned by the same people has closed. Food was as expected, came out fairly quick, and all our orders were correct. There was a bit of reluctance for our party of 7, but our waitress was friendly and attentive. Food prices were fair for what you get. We will definitely come back next time we are in the area and hungry.
