Katie, the coordinator at Starrsville, does a fantastic job! She went above and beyond for my wedding and I was so thankful for her help! The venue is absolutely beautiful, and her staff made sure we were happy and comfortable throughout the wedding day. If you're looking for a reasonably priced venue with staff that will take care of you through the wedding planning process, look no further!
Had my wedding there on May 7th 2016 and it was perfect! Katie Perkins is the absolutely best! We booked the reservation for this day so far out in advanced and Katie was there for me from day one and she is now a good friend of mine! Starrsville is so elegantly beautiful!!!! All of my guests had a blast and thought the property was gorgeous! I would do it all over again! Thank you so much for my wonderful wedding day and I hope anyone else that has their wedding there has an amazing and perfect day like we did!

I did delete my last review, because I was informed that Starrsville is under new management. Katie, quickly got back with me to apologize for what happened. I do believe Starrsville is in good hands now and will soon be the best venue in our area. Thank you Katie.
This is an amazing venue!!! My aunt got married here one year ago today and it was beautiful!!!!
I attended a wedding at Starsville in March. I found the plantation to be really pretty --- the entrance is pecan trees lining a 1/2 mile long driveway. The plantation house was smaller than I thought it might be, but was adorable and well kept. The large oak trees around the house provided alot of shade and oozed southern charm. The plantation house this particular day was used for the bridal party to get dressed and take pictures. The staircase is a great focal point in the home. The large windows and antique furniture made perfect backgrounds for photographs. The wedding I attended had the reception in a large barn. The barn was adorned with lots of wrought iron and hanging lanterns with candles. The weather had turned cool, so large heaters were brought in and made everyone warm and cozy. The sound and lighting people did a fantastic job of lighting the place with uplights of many colors; creating mood lighting and adding lighting for photos. The sound system provided to be loud and the guests had a great time dancing and celebrating after the ceremony. The event was catered and the menu was delicious. We were served prime rib, hot baked potatoes, salads, sodas, and other cold beverages. Our plates were square, white, glass plates, and real silverware wrapped in real linen napkins. The wait staff cleared our dishes quickly and filled our glasses until everyone was content. The rest rooms were rental units that looked like portable home restrooms - we had running water, and the toilets were fine. ( we were in a barn ..... ) -- great job by all and congrats to the bride and groom. As in any event, it takes a lot of planning. This one was well thought out, planned to a "t" -- we had a great time on gorgeous grounds. The bridal party enjoyed themselves and we did too ! Great night Britt and Brian !
