We stopped here after searching best seafood in Dallas... yes, seafood. We didn't want to dress fancy but wanted quality too. At the market downtown Dallas was perfect. The oysters and crabcakes were to perfection. The jalapeño crab bisque was good for a change-up. They service was exceptional and hospitality spot on.

This is a great spot to grab something to eat while at the market especially if you like seafood. They have a good menu with a variety of options and they serve brunch too which is a plus. I wasn’t too crazy about the crawfish hushpuppies because I didn’t really like the raspberry chipotle sauce. The crab cake sandwich was good and a really great portion for the price. The service was quick and friendly! The bar was busy (it was Sunday) so there was a wait to sit at the counter. I enjoyed the open space and being in the market, really fun and relaxing vibe!

Located in the historic Farmers Market in Downtown Dallas is Rex’s Seafood. I ordered the salmon burger with sweet potatoes fries. Let me start with the fries first because they were AMAZING! I fell in love with those fries from the first bite! They were hot, fresh with savory and sweet undertones. The salmon burger was amazing, and this was my first experience with such a burger. That avocado slices on the burger took me to flavor town! LOL. The atmosphere is really cool. I hadn’t been to “The Market” since they actually had farmers selling their produce when I was a kid. I’m definitely going back to eat at Rex’s again.
