Brew In The Village Davenport

We were in town for our nieces wedding on June 9 th (2018), and headed out on June 10th to face our 11 hour drive back to Ontario Canada. It was about 9 am’ish Sunday. I was dying for a coffee so my husband stopped at a gas station and I asked the fellow working there to point us to a COFFEE SHOP. We were about 3 blocks from “Brew.” I loved the decor upon entering!!! It was a rustic bar type space with lots of wood and small chandeliers... shabby sheik. We were greeted by a charismatic, fun woman working there who sat us and brought coffee right away. Upon ordering breakfast food we chatted to her a lot as the “regular Sunday crowd” trickled in. I told her I have a close friend she reminded me so much of, and we laughed as it turned out they had the same name...”Tracy!” We ordered a big breakfast sandwich for my hubs and I had hash brown casserole (which I make at home but theirs tasted better)! With the WONDERFUL � coffee flowing and the fun conversation with Tracy, we hated to leave when finished. Our breakfast was so darn good (and reasonably priced) and one of the best cups of Java I have ever had “States side.” ���. We will return to Davenport in May of next year for niece # 2’s wedding, and will be sure to return. Maybe in the evening this time for a pint! They had AMAZING Bloody Mary’s and the red pepper hummus was to die for! Literally it was sooo good!! 10/10 would recommend people!!!! :)
