As a previous Yelp Elitist and an avid Yelpatl follower on IG, I found an amazing photo that was posted about this place. That same night, we had the Sushi & Sashimi omakase dinner by Chef Jason. It was sooo good, that a few weeks later, we decided to come back and try again. I always wait to review after my second visit because if a place is worth going, it will be worth writing about. And so here I am, writing my review, because honest to god, I cannot think of another restaurant right now that I felt like my second experience was better than my first one. Chef Jason crafted each of his dish/nigiri/sashimi pieces as art work. He goes all out to make sure his patrons have the best ingredient and consume each piece at its prime. His food is well-thought out, masterful, artful, and just genuinely beautiful to look at and to eat. We especially love his homemade soy sauce and in-house smoked fish. We have traveled and eaten a lot of "great" sushi, and quite honestly, Brush Sushi is one of our top choices and definitely have become our favorite place to eat in Atlanta. If you love eating sushi, you must give this place a try. No omakase is cheap, but this place will be so worth the money you spend!

Everything is just spectacular about this dining/ date experience. Kayla ( our magnificent server) was so helpful in explaining the menu and how the food would be prepared and served. The crab meat California sushi is to die for, and well the spray soy sauce was just the niftiest of ideas that I will even do this at home. One of our new favorite dining locations in Decatur now!!!

This is the second visit we have a had to Brush and it was excellent again. I will say, the restaurant had gotten slammed that night and our order fell behind and a few things we wanted were out, BUT we were graciously received and comped some sushi on the house as a thanks/apologies. Sashimi is always on point here, perfect temperature and flavor and they know what they’re serving as compared to many other restaurants. Highly recommend Brush to anybody wanting to try a new place out!
