I NEVER review restaurants or shops. NEVER. This place blew me away enough to violate my personal posting policy. Walked in, greeted heartily by a jovial young man behind the counter, coached me through the menu as a first timer and offered me a sample of the special sandwich of the day. The little morsel was so delicious that I had to have it... it's on the daily menu called The Texan. Changed my life. And this was just a random Monday lunch. Jalapeno, sauerkraut, tenderest roast beef, cheddar cheese, dark rye break toasted to flaky perfection and some kind of tangy special sauce. Holy Pow! Proud to be a Texan today.
Go there, people, and try this concoction. Hang out with these nice folks. Taste and see.
My absolute favorite sandwich shop in Denton. Everyone I have taken here has loved it, Everything I have eaten here has been amazing. If you are interested in trying a high quality sandwich, check it out. The only issue I have ever experienced has been the many people that can bombard this place at once. The food is great, the employees are great, the experience... is great.
I love Weinbergers, some of the best sandwiches ever! The menu selection is great, creative and delicious. Service is quick, and the employees are helpful if you're unsure what you want, just ask and they'll find the right sandwich for you.
All of these bad reviews are meant for what this sandwich shop USED to be and rightfully so, it was BAD. But Weinbergers has taken this space over and it is great again! We are so happy to be able to come in and enjoy our favorite sandwiches again and look forward to doing so often! 10/10
Go here every Saturday for lunch. My wife loves their Kathy's Club and I get the daily special 90% of the time. They are so creative with their sandwiches. The cookies are delicious if they don't burn them. Great sandwich shop.
If you love Cuban sandwiches, this is the only place to go within many miles of Denton. They have a whole section of the menu with just Cubans! Go eat there. You will not be disappointed. The portions are large and the menu is diverse, well, if you are a meat lover anyway.
I come to Texas every year and I can't wait to get their delicious Oscar sandwich. Yesterday I ordered two and I will be going back one more time before I return home,because I'm going to get one to take back to Indianapolis with me. Tried the Medio Noche sandwich, it did not disappoint. Gluten free bread is also exceptional without being overpriced. Owner is thoughtful and friendly. You can tell that he takes pride in his business and making damn good sandwiches.
