I was in Michigan last week and while there I had to try Coney Island. I ended up going to 3 different Coney Island's and I must say Lafayette's was the best!. I would also like to say "Thank You" to the workers there! Brown bag! and the nice gentlemen that I met there! Especially the one who purchased my meal! I learned the hard way that Lafayette's is cash only!

I think their Coney dogs and chili fries with onion and cheese are the best in the world. Come here for the real experience. At lunch time you might sit next to a lawyer playing hookie from his diet or other Detroit archetypes.

Got there at lunch and was still able to get a seat at the counter! Dogs had that nice snap to them when biting into it😋 just as delicious as I remember them!!!😋
