Good comfort food for southwest folks. I really enjoyed the food primarily because it is in the southwest style, which for me is 'comfort food'. Everyone likes their Mexican food different, just like everyone like their pizza different. For me, southwest style is what I grew up with. The owner is often seen running around and a very nice and attentive man. They have a large restaurant area and another large sports bar area downstairs, I've been to both as this sports 'cantina' is the area home of the Denver Broncos! It is a family place, not super fancy, but they have a pretty large menu and seem to execute it well. Nice margaritas, nothing fancy like Masa, but good basic stuff. Its location is sort of out in the middle of nowhere but at least there is plenty of parking.

The reviews on here are not very truthful to la Fonda. I have been going to la Fonda for 25 years. The food is authentic and is ALL made fresh daily. I like la Fonda 6million times more than el Loro which others have indicated in their reviews as "better". I recommend la Fonda hands down! If it's your first time in try the loborito or fajitas.
