We've been to Grit several times, and like it a lot. We went again yesterday, and realized that we had never had their burgers... so we ordered the Cheeseburger and the Peppercrusted Burger, which were both exceptional! Some of the best burgers we've had in the valley! The fries are pretty good, but we highly recommend that you ask them to substitute the twice fried fingerlings for a couple extra dollars, it's well worth it, those little potatoes are amazing! In the past, we've had the fried chicken, the pizza, the steak tacos, and the Grit Dip which are all delicious! And we always get those fingerlings! They're usually pretty busy, and we're happy about that... Means they're popular, and will be in business for awhile! We have recommended to lots of friends, and have several we want to take there soon!!

Visit weekly with co-workers. I’ve had most every item on the weekly lunch menu and I have never been disappointed. Turns out there’s a completely different weekend brunch menu that is great as well! The staff is awesome. For a first time visit you won’t go wrong with the Spicy Nashville assuming you like a little kick.

We had lunch at the Grit today. Soooo delicious. We had the crispy cauliflower and crispy butternut squash with chickpea batter, cashew yogurt dipping sauce. The Fingerling potatoes are very tasty with lemon vinaigrette, parmesan and herbs. The Fried chichen is so flavorful and crispy. We also had the Pear pizza with caramelized shallots, blue cheese, creme fraiche, pear, spicy pecans. The coffee is the best. Paul has his own brand made locally.
