Pho Crystal Fairview

Crystal Quality Food 2NM. Pho Crystal, the best place to have a casual dinner on a Friday night. Located in a mini strip mall, this restaurant might at first pass for a measly diner from a distance. Don’t be fooled! The interior was very clean and we picked an empty table to sit at. A lady came over and we ordered our drinks. She quickly went back to the kitchen like a messenger. It didn’t take too long for her to bring back our drinks. The cup was nothing fancy, just a generic translucent plastic. There was ice in it, and a separate Sprite can for me to self-serve. Soon after, it was time to order the main meal. I scanned the menu; it was organized in a simple way, making it easier to navigate through it. I settled on the beef fried rice because I am pretty fond of other variations of fried rice. She kindly took our orders, and once more went back to the kitchen.
As we were waiting for the food, I looked around the restaurant. There wasn’t much of a theme, just some Asian paintings and miscellaneous paintings of animals and landscapes. This was not a downside, though, as the cleanliness of this place made up for it. I could’ve eaten my food on the ground and would’ve probably been fine. The restaurant is a bit minuscule, but this made it as comforting as a teddy bear. The background music for the restaurant came out of a small radio, and numerous customers came in to pick up their carry-out food at the small counter. The atmosphere in this restaurant felt as cozy as my grandmother’s house.
Finally, the food arrived. The rice was a nice brown color, assorted veggies scattered like stars in the night sky. I couldn't wait to devour this dish. I took my first bite, and it tasted like an angel who fell out of heaven. The beef was very flavorful, and the small veggies in the rice were a good touch. My mouth was like a fireworks show, flavor bursting in every side. The proportions were a bit too big for me, so we made it a take-out. I wiped my mouth in satisfaction, paid for the food, and left. It was a really fulfilling experience. I know I’ll be back here again!
