What to say? We've been visiting here for 15 or 20 years now..even when we lived on the other side of the world, When home I made sure to visit Richard and his beautiful Bride. Years ago they had a big menu....everything is handmade there. WoooHooo. Theres my review! My bar is pretty high. Probably the best burger Ive ever had. I owned my own Steakburger restaurant. This burger is on par with mine. Absolutely delicious. Cant wait to return.

Consistently the #1 five star restaurant in the Big Bear Valley. A favorite of locals and tourists alike. Barbara and Richard have been amazing since the day they moved to Fawnskin and started the North Shore cafe. Best food, great atmosphere, always friendly service, and always worth the visit. You guys are the best. See you soon 🌟 🍽

Great little spot. Stopped in twice over the weekend. Kitchen looked really clean. Dining room was quaint, although I dined outside. The weather, food, and ambiance were terrific. The staff was very polite, friendly, and accommodating. The food was more than enough. You better go there hungry. Wonderful place and people. I will definitely be going back.
