Love It!!. El Cap has been in business for several years and continues to impress me and friends I have brought there. Always great food and drinks. Very friendly and great waitstaff. Definitely a dining experience to remember. I will continue to be a regular customer.

Thee best Italian food around! One time I ate there three days in a row because I couldn't help myself. And one of the times was only for cheesecake. My favorite thing on the menu is the Aglio Olio spinach fettuccini and my second favorite thing (which is not far behind) is the Gnocci Parmesean. Ok I'm gonna honest there tomorrow :-)

BEST. The El Capitan is BY FAR the best resturant OF ANY KIND in the local area and probably in the entire U.P. You will not find better HOME MADE food with attention to detail in every aspect ! Home made bread TO DIE FOR prawns the best I've ever had, (including Fla. and other seafood hotbeds), pasta and sauce unparrelled anywhere. The only place that even compares is Italy itself. So if you're not planning a trip to Italia in the near future, do yourself a favor and try the El Capitan. I am a 40+ year customer and have NEVER EVER had a bad meal. That alone speaks for itself !!
