Dined there last night for the first time. With family and friends from town (and Long Island, NY) regulars at the restaurant, Lou & Dolores. We had 6:00 reservations. I walked in at 5:45 and the place was PACKED! And people waiting near the entrance, inside and out. We were shown to the only empty table set up for us. Before I go into everything, if you're deciding whether or not to dine here and are just checking the reviews..?..read no further.!! The BEST VEAL I've ever had. I'm a big time foodie and I'm also from New York and now living here in Naples a year already. We didn't want the meal to end. Sooo good. Very generous portions. In addition to the best veal is all their sauces of course. Equally as good. All entrees served with a pasta or veggies. Started with the Garlic Knots that were served to us in a basket. They were hot and done perfectly.
Soup or salad with the entrees, I opted for the loaded cup of Pasta Fagioli. And then the entrees.....
Fried Cheese Ravioli: appetizer!
Cheese ravioli breaded and fried, served with a side of marinara for dipping.
Cappelini Tuscano: VG!
Angel hair pasta sautéed in a creamy tomato sauce with sun dried tomato, spinach and prosciutto ham....
Little too much sauce but was delicious. While eating, I forgot about the extra sauce.
Veal Florentina: WOW!
Medallions of veal dipped in egg batter, topped with spinach, melted mozzarella cheese and a light white wine and marinara sauce....
the veal on all the dishes were phenomenal but this blend of sauce was the best! My fave dish! Ate it ALL.
Veal Francese: VG!
Lightly battered veal, sautéed in a light butter, mild lemon and white wine sauce....The picture says it all
Veal Sorrentina: VG!
Veal topped with prosciutto ham, eggplant and melted mozzarella in a white wine and marinara sauce.....she loved it! Took half home.
Cavatelli with Meatballs: Great Standard
Tortellini in sauce: Great Standard
Savory cheese filled tortellini, topped with meat sauce
So, as you can see, we enjoyed ourselves and I can tell you; I'm only 22 miles/38 minutes away. I'll be back and bringing friends to watch them also experience the "best veal". BTW, saw many pizza pies that looked great. Have to try one of these the next time. Buon Appetito!
I have never found a place that serves authentic Italian since my trip to Italy in 2002. Italian is usually bland when you eat out so I never go out for it. Decided to try Nino's and the whole family is glad we did. Hands down absolute best italian food we have ever had! Portions are huge! Garlic was sliced razor thin, fresh basil in the dish was awesome, sausage was juicy, and everyone's dish was super! We couldn't get over how great it was. Will go back to try the pizza soon and can't wait!
This place is truly authentic Italian! Great pizza, great wine! In a world of corporate restaurateurs, shines this gem! Mangia!
One word. GARLIC. I'm in love. Everything was delicious, with slivers of garlic on top. The aromas that tempt your senses when you walk through the door are unparalleled. So. Much. Delicious. Garlic. Seriously, some of the best Italian I've ever had, and I've lived and dined on Italian food in Chicago, NJ, and NYC. There's a reason there's a wait. The food is delicious, and the staff is SUPER attentive and nice...a real rarity, we've found, in SW FL restaurants in season. Well done, Nino's. We will be back. Again and again. Keep up the good work.
The Veal Francese, Chicken Rotelli and Baked Ziti was excellent...salad and garlic knots too! Then we had enough for a second meal the next day for all three of us. Definitely going back

The food was delicious. The chicken parm and chicken marsala were fantastic. There was also the delicious calamari. The service was good and overall was a lovely experience. I look forward to going back. Definitely a place to go when you are craving Italian.

We went there specifically because we were craving an ala vodka dish. Their rigatoni ala vodka was delicious. It did not disappoint. The house salad was fresh. The stuffed mushrooms were very enjoyable. We ate at the bar and had a few beers. The bartender, Amina, was attentive and friendly.
Ordered curbside pickup. Staff very friendly. Started with the lobster stuffed mushrooms, I will dare to say these were definitely not frozen or premade and were very tasty. My only gripe was there was something bitter in the butter garlic sauce. Garlic knots unfortunately are as everyone else already said, stale, I tossed them. House salad was pleasant, house dressing was surprisingly zesty and I liked it. Ordered the chicken Siciliana for dinner and aside from the chefs sauce being a little sweeter than mine, I could have taken this dish home and my family would have thought I slaved all day making it. I ordered a cannoli for dessert, you know, just to be thorough 😉 but unfortunately that was another just toss it. Shell had no crunch what so ever And it was $6.50 for ONE.
OVERALL I will come back here and try several more dishes and mangia!
**""Came back! Lobster ravioli was delicious. Calamari was good, missing legs though. Rolls were ice cold. Raspberry tea was awesome. Waitress came over and said 'know what you want?' pet peeve of mine I guess... No hello, no have you been here before, no suggestions, ugh.
Didn't even get a name from here to report to you all as she never introduced herself.
Had to wait more than 1 1/2 hrs to be seated. Food was excellent, price reasonable. Party of 8 stayed at their table for more than 35 minutes after finished eating & restaurant refused to clear their table so they would get the hint. We wound up being last party served
The muscles were delicious, I would go back for them anytime. Staff was friendly enough not super attentive but brought me everything I needed. My pasta was was cooked right and tasted good. The only really downside I had was their famous bread knots were a little stale. They probably are excellent when they are fresh. Would eat there again if I was in the area.
