Food was delicious here. The sushi was incredibley fresh with a big selection of rolls to pick from . Our service was terrific & they have a large selection of sake. Nice atmosphere, this was a great place for a date night to sit down & eat, drink & enjoy dinner. Great price point too. We had 3 appetizers, 2 sushi rolls, 1 specialty roll, 1 piece shrimp sashimi, 1 clear soup, 1 combo hibachi & 5 bottles of sake for 158$ with out tip. This is probably our new favorite place for sushi 🍣& sake
I always struggle to get a nice pic of the actual food, but the experience was exactly as I wanted. The service was quick and efficient. The cooking was entertaining. My chef made jokes, flipped eggs, threw broccoli to each guest to catch with their mouths (if they want to), and made sure everyone’s food was how they wanted. Much faster than most hibachi places, we were in and out in less than an hour which is not always what you want but we didn’t mind this visit.
Kumo is in my top 5 favorite restaurants here in SWFL! You have the option to enjoy the hibachi experience or sit at a table or order off a traditional menu. I always go for the hibachi experience. Your chef will be cooking right in front of you while putting on a little show. They will flip eggs into their cap from a spatula, tossing broccoli into diners mouths, lighting the flatop on fire, and more. The meal starts with a clear soup and a salad with a ginger dressing. The soup is simple and tasty. The ginger dressing is great. My meal of choice is the hibachi chicken and shrimp with the fried rice. I recommend for people to try Kumo at least once. It's absolutely worth it. Great food. Great atmosphere.

Was cooked to perfection and so cool I was dining on japanese dishes but the restaurant was kinda small looks like it could house 30 people altogether and only two hibashi where they cook in front of you, now I just had my own table for some piece and quiet but I heard cheers coming from the hibashi so must've been good. No doubt I'm going back and to think I even had eel with eel sauce for the first time in my life.
We went to Kumo for a late dinner and the staff was so gracious. The portions are great, and my Chicken Teriyaki was served with miso soup, salad with ginger dressing and white rice. Sizzlin hot on that skillet...yum! My daughter opted for two of the sushi roll items, a dynamite roll with cream cheese and a special mango roll ~ hubby ordered Salmon Teriyaki with mixed veggies clear soup and white rice. Our server was attentive, and the food was very good! We will be back soon!
This was our first time here. It was fun and the food was good. The salad and soup that was served with my entrée were delicious. I just thought the server could have did more. But it was a good experience and the conversation with the other guest that sat with us was fun. Would come back.
The atmosphere was great. Our server went above and beyond asking me if I had any food allergies before we ordered our meal. The meal arrived fast and cooked to perfection. The menu had a lot of wonderful dishes to choose from. Will definitely return. Thank you 😊.
Great customer service, the food came so quickly, very delicious and well put together, I used a Groupon for it so a little pricey but you get what you paid for most definitely, would go again!

Food was amazingly delicious! Great atmosphere! Server's were a delight. Always asking if you needed anything before you could ask them. Food portions are for a King. Cooks are festive. And! We had a blast!
