I was just in the area for work at a location for the company I work for and had to take a lunch break and saw the Sub House. I’m from New Jersey/ Philly area, and this is top notch when it comes to a Philly cheesesteak. Fresh bread that’s not soggy or stale, fresh veggies that are still crunchy, and of course the meat and cheese was cooked perfectly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
I own Fort Myers Auto Mall about 2 blocks from the Sub House on Fowler. Our team members order lunch a few times a week at the Sub House. We LOVE the Huge Steak Sandwich and Blase is a big fan of the BLT. Every sub has been great. Thanks for serving us!
This was an amazing experience. I had to literally pull myself away from the food just to take a picture. Im more than pleased honestly the best I've had in the Fort Myers area hands down. The Sub House is hands down 5 star.
We've eaten here multiple times and and have never been disappointed. The foods is amazingly delicious and the staff is friendly and very helpful. Mario is especially helpful. He made sure our food was made perfectly and our experience had always been a pleasurable one. My New Yorikan boyfriend has been looking for a New York style sub for ever and finally found it here at the sub house, especially try the hot pepper relish! The wings are to die for as well as their steak and cheese sub. This place is a must and their prices for the quality make it a great deal all around.
I stopped in Sub House for the first time today for a quick bite. The steak and cheese sub is AMAZING. The steak was freshly sliced in house. They even have fresh pickled jalapenos and salsa if you like your subs spicy like me. The place was spotless...very clean!
There were no smudges on the counters or glass. Mario's customer service was top notch. I'm very picky and he exceeded my expectations. This is my new favorite hotspot.
My wife were looking for a local place to eat before heading to Fort Myers High for a volleyball game, we dont live local but saw The Sub Shop had good reviews... well I have to say.... they were RIGHT!! We got the steak and cheese sub and it was tremendous!! Fresh steak with great flavor, nice soft, fresh bread!! We met the owner Mario, great guy, very welcoming!! I will definitely be back next time in the area!!
Great subs! It tasted like fresh turkey breast- not lunch meat. Steak and cheese was huge with a tone of meat. Owner was very friendly and made sure we had everything we ordered before we left. Good luck in your business :)
I am always looking for a good sub and this place does not disappoint. I had the pastrami sub and my husband had the steak and cheese. They were both very good. We also ordered their French fries and fried Oreos. Everything was delicious. The prices are reasonable as well. We will be returning when in the area.
I ordered the cheesesteak sub and it was awesome! Also the food was fast and the bread was fresh and the staff and owner were extremely friendly. I could not ask for more. Well maybe I could ask for more. I just wish you were closer to my home in San Carlos Park.
Anytime I am around this part of town I am definitely stopping in to get myself another sandwich. I’ll most likely eat it there and get another want to go.
One of the best places to get a sandwich in town! Reasonable prices. I would highly recommend it.
Also, downtown Ft Myers has lost a lot of our locally-owned small businesses over the past few years, and replaced them with... very mediocre restaurants. The Sub House is locally owned, and the owner is also a super nice guy. I never feel bad about spending money here...
