The food here is well worth the visit. It's just not a great place to stay and eat. Grab some of this fantastic chow and head home.

Tropical always comes in handy when I am in the mood for Haitian food. The food is always good and finger licking but the customer service could be improved. Another thing that can be improved is when a customer is ordering over the phone and picking up the food shouldn’t take such a long time to come out .

I ordered the fried snapper with rice and peas. Everything was excellent!! Kudos to the chef!! I will definitely order again when I’m in town. You need to open up a restaurant in Tampa. They need some good food there.

I really enjoyed my first time there. Ronald was awesome and getting our orders and still taking care of all the customers who were there prior. The setting was clean and nice. It was a taste of home. Food was okay. My black rice and stewed turkey was really good and I loved the proportion(we got a lot for our money). My husband got white rice and stewed goat and though he thought it was good, I found the beans ("sauce pwa") to be okay. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a quick homestyle bite or wanting to try Haitian food for the first time. It is definitely worth it. Oh! And I really liked the art work.

Absolutely the best Haitian food I have ever had 😐 after waiting in line wondering if people were talking about the only “blanc” man in the house 😂😂😂 yeah.. but the employees were sweat and the food was absolutely amazing 👌👌👌 know what your gonna order as usual Haitian restaurants don’t have a menu its what’s available that day. Will come back for sure I love Haitian food and this place was packed for lunch hour i guess the locals know what the deal is! ❤️🌴❤️🌴❤️ the beans were so good, the sauce was perfectly for the griot and not too spicy! Wow! Easy parking too. Kompa music and great to go lunch option. Wait was about 10-15 mins.. felt longer since i am pretty sure i was the pun of white man jokes in creole 😂 - recommended for sure!! Griot with white rice and black beans 👌
