Love the food! Also the atmosphere... usually. I just witnessed a very rude person plop themself down in the middle of the bar, then order a kids meal. I checked, the menu does state that it's 12 and under, but the staff is always very amenable to such a request - they respect peoples' portion choices. But after she complained about the bartender not giving her an adult cup (I think that's what it was, but I was off talking to my former coworkers and not paying attention to this person - full disclosure: I am a former employee, and still work for them infrequently on a per case basis). Came back and sat at the bar to find this person complaining to the manager that it wasn't as much meat as the normal portion. He was very restrained and polite, and explained that the kids meals are portioned at 2 oz, but he would be happy to get this person a little more this time. On his return he explained that next time they'd have to charge for the full size sandwich. The person smoldered for a second, then abruptly asked for his name, as if they find the whole idea of "getting what you paid for" to be repulsive. I've never seen such abhorrent behavior from a restaurant patron in my whole life - but I was pleased by how well the manager handled it! I only worked food service for a little while, but I've been eating at restaurants for two decades, and have never heard such preposterous self-entitlement.

Been visiting the Red Hot and Blue location in Southwest FW for years. The only area BBQ place in DFW that is a Memphis TN style southern BBQ. Brunswick stew is a southern favorite and I can only get it here. Luv the blues and Rock and Roll guitar theme. Mini pitchers of iced tea, ribs, pulled pork and hush puppies.. yummy �
