It's not just a restaurant - it's a dining experience. To begin with, the food, as one would expect, is top shelf. Everything my wife and I chose from the ala carte side of the menu was delightful. The only down note, if I may nit-pick, was the cheese plate desert option. There was only one type of cheese presented. Secondly, the staff was uber-attentive without being intrusive and engaging. All questions we had were answered without our feeling that the response was "rehearsed". Even though it's an hour's drive, we will be back to sample the seasonal changes to the menu. The anticipation level is high.

Volt is a top notch restaurant in Frederick. The service is beyond the best anywhere. What makes the service so superb is the people. Every server there seems to enjoy their work. Each takes the time to answer questions and smile. Completely enjoyable and professional staff. Do the pairing. The wine is above what you’ll experience anywhere in Frederick. Be prepared to try delicious yet unique foods. We’ve visited the Volt many times since they opened and we’ve never been disappointed. Enjoy!

Impeccable service. Party of flavor combinations and spectacular plating. Can't wait to return. Interesting cocktails--but would have loved a vodka based drink as an option.
