Reggae Pit Stop Jamaican Grill Frisco

Love this place! Food is excellent!! Staff is great! Definitely recommend for lunch or dinner. Moving to Texas from NYC Reggae Pit Stop is the best we've had since Brooklyn. The oxtails and ackee are a must have! Bring your appetite.

Very good!! This is a welcomed addition to this area. A group of my sorority sisters decided to come try it out. There were a few people there when we arrived and several coming in & out for to-go orders. We had about 12 people in our group. The staff & owners were very accommodating and allowed us to move tables together. Between the 12 of us we offered the fried wings with jerk flavor, oxtails, jerk chicken, jerk chicken tacos, salmon, and burger with sides of rice, cabbage, and mac&cheese. I had the oxtails and they were delicious and very flavorful. The cabbage was also very good but the rice didn't have much flavor alone. I mixed it up with the juices from my oxtails and enjoyed it that way. I heard the mac&cheese was very good as well. I didn't hear any complaints besides what I mentioned about the rice. The chef came out and talked to us & thanked us for coming. He gave us a bit of background about the restaurant as well. I think this place will be great in this location. Many will be introduced to food they've never had before!! I'll definitely be back. They've only been open 3 weeks and working to make things great. I look forward to trying the dessert on my next visit.
