Flying Biscuit has a good breakfast/brunch menu. Their omelettes, scrambles, and chicken and waffles are all good. While their food is consistently good, the quality of their service is not. It seems that they are understaffed. Also because this place is popular, expect a wait even on weekdays.

Great breakfast in Gainesville! Customer service was excellent. Our host got us seated quickly during peak hour. Our server Daniel was friendly and got our order right. The menu has a variety of yummy options. The food came out in a timely manner and wow, the food here is amazing! The best biscuit and grits I have ever had. The French toast was perfect. Everything was delicious. I will return to try their avocado toast.

Flying biscuit has the best grits in town. Food is always good with great service. Well worth the stop and the wait. My favorite is the Hot Dirty Bird.

Service was wonderful and attentive. Food was hot, fresh, and delicious. All of our party had smiles as they enjoyed their breakfasts.
However, the coffee is weak. Way weak. Step up the coffee Flying Biscuit. Men drink it.
Hot Chicken and Waffle is perfect.

First time at the Flying Biscuit Cafe today! I ordered the waffle breakfast. Everything with delicious and cooked to perfection. The biscuits are beyond belief. Great coffee and service. Dined outside and loved it.

Pretty good chain for classical American breakfast dishes with a little twist. I recommend the shrimp and grits. The chicken on the hangover hash was a little dry, but the dish was well-seasoned. Their biscuits are fluffy and pair perfectly with apple butter. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable. I'd come here for breakfast again.

High expectations for this bright and vibrant setting. After a couple of quaint cornhole games for our understandable wait, we browsed surprisingly diverse menu offerings. Sadly, that’s where things went downhill. The server seemed mildly inconvenienced by our questions about the menu. After some time, we couldn’t help but wonder what the holdup was on our order. With dwindling drink levels, we were relieved to see our food after approximately 40 minutes. The French toast was pretty much just wheat toast with a couple sad ramekins of Sysco’s finest pretentious toppings. Eggs ordered over-medium were severely under cooked. When you combine the lackluster food with slow, inattentive service you get a completely forgettable experience.

This was the first time at this place and we will definitely be back! Everything was seasoned very well and their mimosa flight was amazing! Stop by if you're in the area!
