We loved it! We had a dinner reservation and the atmosphere and food did not disappoint overall. The best thing we had was the grande charcuterie board - the best I’ve ever had. The pretzel with the beer cheese was amazing. I had the short ribs for dinner and it was great. The sirloin special was a little tough but that was the only snag. Highly recommend overall for a great dining experience. Disfruten/enjoy! 🔥😎💯
This is what a restaurant should aspire to be! Delicious and fresh cocktails, entrees and desserts. I had the scallops, they were amazing. Just as amazing, they were served with broccolini and sweet potatoes, the entree was superb. The side of Gouda Mac and cheese was delicious.Hubby had the Hearsay steak, which he loved. Day was our waitress, her service was excellent! She was personable, attentive and had great suggestions and recommendations. The pumpkin crème brûlée was brilliant. Will visit again soon!
We had never been here before and it was more than I expected. The ambience was smooth, relaxing and comforting. We sat upstairs near the bar and wine room. Our service was lacking but I believe the fella was somewhat new, albeit not young by any means. Overall, it was a good experience but it took a long time to get our drink orders put in. I had a Yeungling Flight draft and the wife had a delectable Smoot. For food, she had the stuffed chicken and I had the wagyu patty melt. We were both satisfied with our food, drinks and environment!

After such disappointing service at various bars and restaurants on the Strand we made our way for a formal dinner at Hearsay expecting the experience to be the opposite. Unfortunately our greeting by what looked like the shift manager and hostess at the door last night was less than welcoming. Very cold as we were told someone will help you then we watched the two chit chat. I know there are waits for tables but the greeting was not what it should have been from a place like this.
Our great luck switched however after we took it upon ourselves to find seats at the bar. Travis, Will and Tyler turned our day around by giving us the best service and helping us enjoy the ambiance of this super chic place. The food was amazing, wine selection was great and the handcrafted cocktails are a reason to go back.
And if you are lucky enough to be served by Travis, Will or Tyler you will truly enjoy your experience.
This was definitely the best brunch I’ve had in Galveston! 😋 The burger was so juicy and flavorful with a perfect bun! 🤤 The tenders were crunchy and yet moist inside! 🥵 And the rosemary parmesan fries were impossible to stop eating even though I was trying to save room for dessert! 😩 The bread pudding was delightful! 😍
I usually like to try new places for me when I eat out on the weekends but would rather come back here to experience it again. 😳
Loved the atmosphere and service inside a beautiful building. Shrimp & Grits were amazing but filet mignon could be improved upon. Ozgur was a great waiter - will return :)
This was our first time at Hearsay. We visited on a Saturday morning and it wasn’t busy, easy to find a table. We sat outside — there are three 4-top tables and we brought our dog. We ordered chicken and waffles and the crispy chicken sandwich. Both were delicious! The waffle had a good crisp to it but was still fluffy and the chicken tenders were battered nicely and had a great flavor. The chicken sandwich was light but packed with flavor and the Parmesan potato “chips”/fries were sooooo yummy. We will be back!
Such a cool place to eat! Definitely doesn’t feel touristy since it’s a sit down restaurant and the waiters are super nice! They have multiple vegetarian options and they can be made vegan super easily (taking the cheese off etc). They have an impossible burger and impossible meatballs and spaghetti! Reasonably priced too!
Food was decent, but what you are really here for is the atmosphere. Beautiful restaurant with stellar bar. Theres a little upstairs and even balcony seating as well. Great option if you want to step up the dining experience a little.

Visited Galveston and this place caught my eye so I brought the family out. The atmosphere was really cool, defeintely had the speakesy vibe.
I thought their menu had great variety, especially helpful for vegetarians as well. Wish service would come more often but it was great nonetheless!
