Pupuseria Salvadorena Las Veronica's Garden City

I was coming through town and did a Google search on Salvadoran restaurants. This one came up so I gave it a shot and I was more than satisfied. My wife of 30 years is from El Salvador, so I’m familiar with the food and I was not disappointed. I’ve had Salvadoran food in literally every corner of the United States, including the country of El Salvador. This was at the top of the list and that’s not stretching the truth. Everybody was friendly and nice and yeah it helps if you speak a little bit of Spanish but it’s not needed if you know how to point and use your fingers. They can Speak some English but don’t be a Karen and leave a bad review because of it. My Spanish is limited, but it didn’t take away from the experience and getting my order made to perfection. I started off with the traditional Horchata, which is a nice sweet drink. I then had a variety of Papusas, which is the national dish along with some fried yucca. I also grabbed a dessert quesadilla which is basically a sweet type of bread that is delicious. If you’ve never had Salvadoran food then I would recommend you give this establishment a chance because it is one of the best.

place was awesome, accidentally came in close to close, and didn't realize it. And I still got great service and delicious food. Their green bananas blew me away, and their options are fantastic and delectable.
