Their Cha (Vietnamese sausage) has great flavor but they should put the date on it. I see their products at some grocery stores but I never buy them because they could’ve been there for a long time. I buy directly from here and they’re always busy so I just hope that they go through stuff fast enough.
07/02/22: Đoàn is now just a to go spot. They have fried tofu, snacks, desserts, and other items. As of today, fried tofu pieces are $.40 each. It use to be 3 for $1. The fried tofu is fresh and made multiple times a day in the restaurant.
My family is a fan of Pho Đoàn. They have decent pho and other typical Vietnamese dishes (bun, com, family style foods, snacks, etc). My family is a big fan of their banh gio, fried tofu, soft tofu with ginger syrup, and flan. The fried plain tofu is much better than Viet Tofu, which is across the street.
The owner, his wife, and adult children are also very friendly and nice
We happened to find out about this place by accident. We love their Cha Oc and other pork hams as well. My mother in law is a cook and her family has been making cha lua for yrs but she praised Pho Doan's cha oc. They are super fast and friendly. They do offer shipping out of state which us a plus. Will revisit them again when I go to Texas.
