So my boyfriend and I often try to find new places to eat we like to be a little adventurous. We had a older couple tell us about this place so we decided to give it a shot. We were definitely not disappointed the service is amazing they're very attentive we were seated immediately when we walk through the door. I started off with the calamari which is phenomenal and then for our meals we both enjoyed prime rib with scallops green beans and macaroni and cheese every bit of that was so delectable we couldn't even finish it all definitely had to take him a doggie bag! The only criticism I can honestly give was the margarita I was not impressed at all with that it seem to be watered down Margaritas are usually a green color and this was more of an off-white color, that is my first Telltale of a not so good margarita. I did not order anything else off the drink menu. I'm all for giving it another shot but I only one more. I know how each bartender does things differently so maybe that person just didn't really know how to make a good margarita. But all-in-all definitely will come back and definitely would love to try some more of their food!
Just about the best fried flounder sandwich I've ever eaten. I rarely eat fried foods. It was lightly breaded with just enough spice added. Very crispy with fluffy white flounder. Temperature was perfect . It made 2 meals for me. The hand cut fries were delicious. Seasoned with just the right amount of salt. They were even good cold. That is never the case with fries.
My first time at JD Shuckers, but certainly not my last
We came in for a late dinner tonight, the staff was great, the food was awesome with tons of flavor. I’ll be back for sure.
Fish tacos and tots, burger with fries, 2 beers and a coke all for $33.00.
We were there a little after 9p.m. Saturday night - service was perfectly attentive, food was delicious. The reviews I'm reading are over the place, but our visit was great - we'll definitely be back!
Just had lunch. Special ordered a turkey burger without an issue. Service was amazing. Alton was an awesome server!
A decent family restaurant for seafood and other dishes. We ordered cream of crab soup which was quite good. The seafood special with fried oysters, shrimp and flounder was okay. The fried chicken with waffles was unique. The waffles had a sweet seasoning and came with spicy honey sauce. Our wait staff was pleasant and our orders from the kitchen was timely. The overall experience was good.
Service was fast. Food was great. There was even live music. Bartender Ryan H. was very professional and courteous. Even called me "sir." Really puts age into perspective there. All-in-all, worth a visit.
My experience here was great the food was good the service was great! I wish my clams were average size but they were rather small like something I could’ve picked up in the super market for about $7. They were fresh and tasty though!
Service was fast and pleasant. You can make a meal from appetizer menu. The ahi tuna was delicious and oyster were fresh. Had the shrimp quesadilla with house made old bay potato chip. Very good.

This has been my 3rd time eating here. The food is on point. I have got several different items on the menu and I have always been happy. The pricing is fair and we are always leaving here happy and stuffed. On our 3rd time here our waiter named Robbie was amazing and down to earth. This is our spot and will keep on coming back!
