Good service and good food. That's what you want when you go to a restaurant with your family and friends. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

We decided to try something different over the weekend. We had heard about a new Mexican restaurant that opened near us and--get this--serves breakfast on the weekends. Now my grubbing partner loves Mexican dishes and I love breakfast, so this place was a must! We first checked out the menu online, and then began our dash toward Juan’s Mexican Café and Cantina. Our greeter was our waiter, and he quickly sat us down in our booth. The place was cozy and well-lit, large and very comfortable for breakfast. I ordered the Camarones & Grits, which tasted fantastic but which were missing the chorizo listed on the menu. My grubbing partner ordered the Burrito Mexicali, a huge, two-handed burrito with grilled steak and chorizo, potatoes, peppers, onions, and tomatoes, but no queso, which was also listed on the menu. Other than the missing items in our dishes, the meals were well done both in taste and prices. And yes, I would return; I hope they keep up their standards.

Ordered the new East L.A. Burrito, which is a Chilli relleno stuffed with steak and cheese. It has a grilled cheese piece the size of the Burrito draped over the top. It's the best Burrito I've ever eaten! Delicious 😋 Our waitress was very friendly, helpful and humorous! We'll definitely be back!

Service and staff was amazing. The new items on the menu are great. I highly recommend the beef brisket burrito. It was worth the money and had great flavors that went well together.

Great food (& generous portions,) great drinks, and great service! We went on a Friday night where it was busy, but still had great service. I had the tamales and my husband got the chori-pollo and both were delicious. We had some left over to take home!

I had a bad experience about 2 weeks ago with the price inflation on the Big Juan jumping up a $14 increase within a weeks time. I swore that I wouldn't return. A friend of mine said that he would pay if I went and I was very skeptical. We both had the new beef brisket burrito and it was absolutely phenomenal.

Great value, great food and great staff. I had the Quesadilla Rellena and my girlfriend got the chimichangas and we both really enjoyed our meals. Service was fast and friendly. 10/10 would recommend

I haven't dined in, only been inside to pick up my takeout. The inside is old, tired. Food is usually ready after the expected time. Quality and speed have deceeased since covid. Unfortunate. Pre-covid, would give 5 stars, but post-covid 4 stars. Really like the burrito bowl and nachos. All the enchiladas are tasty. Cheese enchiladas are also great, just sometimes the cheese isn't fully melted inside. Their chicken is really good. And of course, love their white sauce and salsa. I still recommend. Hoping they can regain the spark they had a couple years ago.

First time here. Very friendly and attentive wait staff! Upbeat fun atmosphere with great sports style bar and seating in a separate room from main dining area. Very Clean. Nice Mexican themed decor. The food was very good and served quickly! Pricing was reasonable and similar to like restaurants. A hidden gem tucked away in Hayes! Definitely recommend.
