This was an unexpected find in a town that has seen better days. First of all the name and decor of the Diner is cute and the food is fresh and delicious. We ordered shrimp for my husband and I ordered a salad and baked potato. There was enough shrimp to share and my salad was big. The baked potato was big also. Everything was prepared just right and very tasty. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. The server was friendly and checked back several times to make sure we had everything we needed. The prices are reasonable and the portions are big. If I pass through Great Falls SC again I will enjoy another meal at the Flopeye Diner.

We stopped here for a quick lunch as we visited the hiking trail nearby. We had the best burgers, which were juicy, thick, and delicious. We had the Jalapeno burgers, and they were the best!!! They had outdoor seating and it was nice. It is diffidently a place to come again and I highly recommend if you are in the area to stop by.

I love traveling the back roads of SC and stopping in the small town eateries. Flopeye Diner is one of them. I was able to stop for my first time last week. The exterior in very quirky and it carries over into the interior. The service was fast and the food was good. I got the shrimp with tator tots and hush puppies. I lool for forward to go back and trying a burger or the hamberger steak or as the young people like to call it......chop steak.
