Stopped in for breakfast with my husband and two friends. Our friends hadn't been here before so we decided to try it, since my husband and I are not from the area. The prices were low, the food was good, served quickly, and the service was fantastic. I would go back again just because of the friendly owner. He asked where we were from and when I said Charleston, he proceeded to tell me about his family there and recommended a place to eat in Awendaw. Recommended.
Howard and his employees are awesome!! From delicious menu items to a fun and relaxing place to chill with friends, Howard's On Main is a fabulous place to be! If you ever have catering needs, he also does an amazing job getting you just what you need! SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES!!!

Howard's on maine is one of my most favorite lunch spots in Uptown! Great service that was dependable and quick and not to forget the wonderful quality of food. I love their half and half combo for days when I am craving a sandwich but needing a salad! And Howard is a great man! Always making you feel welcome the minute you step in the door! I definitely recommend this Resturant!

Great Place. I'd been meaning to go to Howard's ever since I started living in Greenwood, and just recently did. Very friendly service, and seating outside for those nice days. They start you off with a basket of awesome chips and some kind of mayonnaise dipping sauce (okay, pretty much 100% mayonnaise). I ended up getting the Salami panini, and even though I love hot food, the red pepper aioli was just too much. Ended up not even finishing the sandwich because of it, but hopefully I can go back sometime and get something else. Great local place with nice people and good food (especially the chips).

I'm giving it five stars because Howard is amazing, the food is really good, and the employees are all kind.
Just beware of the regulars. The regulars control everything. They have certain seats they sit in, and you're not welcome to sit in them. They bully people for being different from them. If you dress differently or have a different personality from them, they will be rude and nasty to you. I've been bullied there one too many times. I had the last straw when they randomly tried to embarrass me in front of a friend who was visiting from out of town. Telling me they want to punch me in the face because I talk about my dating life too much. 🤷♀️ I no longer feel safe there when I just mind my own business and be me. I've been attacked there and threatened by them, when I don't even know them.
There are other bars where the regulars are nice. I'm bummed about the decision I'm making but in the end, it's not worth damaging my mental state further by continuing to be bullied for just being myself. Others have also had the same problem with the same regular customers. It's not just me. The regulars aren't held accountable for their mean actions. They have free reign. It's their bar, and the rest of us just have to live in it.
If you want good food and good music though, I highly recommend. 👌
I cannot say enough good things about Howard's and the food. I love the turkey croissant sandwich, and order it almost every time I go in. The staff are so friendly and sincere, it's like being with family, only better. But the best thing about Howard's is Howard himself. He has a genuine concern for people, and goes out of his way to help those who have a need.
Stopped in for a couple drinks and a local band was playing... cool old place, Great atmosphere!!! Loved it

Was very good. Went to car show in Greenville and enjoy the show and the food. Will be back.
