This place is awesome!! It's four doors down from my best friends place and the prices are fair. It's a neighborhood bar and grill and they have daily specials that seemed to be exactly what I was in the mood for! They even offer a soup of the week(you need to try to catch the Bell Pepper Soup special) and Clam Chowder everyday!! I got to try a few other clam chowder's around town and my verdict is Buoy 9 was the best tasting and had the most clams in it! The consistency was perfect(not to thick and not to thin) and it wasn't over run by too much potatoes! Also, their steamed clams are the bomb!!!!!!!! Two pounds of lovely deliciousness in a bucket with garlic bread sent my taste buds into overdrive! Garlicky clam liquor was soaked up with garlicky, toasted bread................yaaaah! You'll just have to go there and eat and find out for yourself!

We stopped for lunch at Buoy 9 after hearing about it for years. My wife had the Chicken Strips Basket. Unlike most places, these were tempura battered here and were very good. I had the Cod Fish and Chips Basket and it was also very good. We both ate the bread, since it was so good, and the cole slaw, which was some of the best I have had. The fries (chips) were also well done. We will definitely come back.

Stopped by after Salmon Fishing for some food and beer... Did not know what I was getting into... But it turned out to be "Local Favorite" hangout.
I had the burger which was just fine, but it is hard to mess up a burger... But my fishing buddy had the fish & chips, and said it was very good.
The beer was cold and the service was good... It is a good place to hang your hat for a spell! Enjoy, MORRY
