On Sunday morning, a few friends and I decided we wanted brunch. We arrived at the gastropub, were greeted by the cool laid back host(really set the vibe), then seated and served by Ben(amazing server, by the way!). The food was phenominal, and the drinks were just as amazing! I recommend the vodka flights. Such flavor! I highly recommend the Gastropub for anyone looking for an "out of this world" dining experience!
Great food and great service! We were surprised the place was basically empty on a Saturday night. We felt the place was way understaffed however Michael took great care of our group. He was great bar tending and serving but he is only one person. This is a very nice place and WILL be back, but would like to see more staff, encouraging more patrons and a better. “happening” feel. I encourage the owner to stop by and see how staff is doing everything it can! They need help!
The Gastropub gets high marks for great food, upscale atmosphere and caring/attentive staff. Burgers are super plump and among the best the wife and I have experienced in Hbg, will go back just for them. Open air dining on the first floor and rooftop patio is a plus. Great detail paid to upscale decor, including bathrooms, and good to see a wide variety of unique music acts on weekends.
Absolutely amazing food!!! From the appetizers, to the main course, even the dessert. The food was all delicious!
I was disappointed to see that this place wasn’t packed for a Saturday evening. But other than that, it was a great place, and we had excellent service.
My experience was great!!!! I got the lobster ravioli which was TO DIE FOR. It was rich, delicious and plentiful. I also got the pierogies with pulled pork and an au jus as a starter. It wasn't busy so the bartender Lacie (spelling) was also my server. She was sweet and attentive while giving me space. I will DEFINITELY be back.
I was here last week with family and we sat on the rooftop. We had Tony as our server. The service was absolutely fantastic. He was very personable and made sure that we had what we needed and wanted at all times. He also had great recommendations on food. We took his suggestions and were all very pleased with the meals that we ordered. We will definitely be dining here again and we hope to see Tony when we do! Thank you for such a great experience.
We ate/drink on the rooftop. The bartender/waitress was amazing and very attentive. My wife had the shrimp, mango and feta wrap and a cheese plate while I had the truffle fries and short rib mac and cheese. All the food was good althought I feel the short ribs in the mac and cheese could have been cook shorter. Over the experience was great and I would recommend it to anyone.
I've been here twice in the last week for lunch. The express lunch is the way to go! For 9.50 you get a choice of an app, a main course, and a dessert. Both groups that I was with had zero complaints and only compliments about the food, service and atmosphere. This will be a weekly lunch spot for me! You must try it out for yourself to fully appreciate this great restaurant!
Wow! The best dining experience in downtown Harrisburg! My husband and I enjoyed the ambiance and service was great. We ordered two appetizers: shark board and flower power and both were delicious! We also shared a NY strip with yukon gold mashed potatoes and whistleberry mushrooms. Stephanie the server was very nice and attentive! Will definitely be back!!!
