Love this place. This location in particular always stays open later into the season than others, which is just 😚👌🏽 perfect. In the years I've gone here, they've only gotten my order wrong once, but when I said something about it, they let me have the goofed up one AND the right one. Hell yeah. As of autumn of 2021, they're super understaffed, and the last few times I went there seemed to only be one person working, but she's doing her absolute best. Service is still great.
Oh... oh.... OH!!!! I am a lover of all treats sweet and tasty. My favorite gelati combos are coconut ice/ Georgia peach.... pina colada/ pineapple.... and now I have a new fav!!!!!!!!!! Unicorn/ cotton candy!!!!! With the unicorn sprinkles!!!!!! This was the best treat ever!
We walked up to the window to order. Our cashier was Journey. She entertained my children by letting them give her their orders. She made sure we were happy with what we were given before I paid. Grounds were clean, service was friendly. We'll absolutely return.
Rita's specializes in combinations of italian ice and frozen custard, which has a different consistency and taste than soft serve ice cream. They tend to have sugar-free options. Not exactly inexpensive - easily $5-8 a person which can add up quickly. Great treat on a hot day. Often long lines but the workers do their best! You can get some to-go which is convenient for family or work outings. This location has some outdoor seating (walk up window only) and a drive through.
As usually good and delicious ice cream got in the waffle cone. Location is great too
