At least once a week.. I'd have to say this is my favorite restaurant in Harrisonburg. The reasons why are very simple: The food is delicious, affordable, and very generous in the portions.

With that being said, however, I've only gone there for lunch. On that subject, though, their lunch menu is astounding. They often run daily specials, for example, all lunch specials are only $4.99 on Wednesdays and just $5.99 on Thursdays (with a drink on Thrusdays). The fact that you get lunch plus dinner later (as there's always pleanty to take home) makes it even more of a great value.

Don't pass this place up. Hands down best Mexican food I've had in central Virginia.

We were pleasantly surprised by Jalisco Mexican Restaurant on Neff Avenue in Harrisonburg VA. We were seated quickly. The restaurants has a authentic flair about it. Our meals came out sizzling hot in no time at all. Large portions and very flavorful. We finished up our dinner with a Flan !! The flan was the icing on the cake. We happily give them 5 star⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating on the food, atmosphere & Service!!

We have been coming multiple times to eat lunch or dinner. I’ve always been upset about coming in because we are ignored by the staff as they walk by and they do acknowledge us… It can take up to 10 minutes to be seated. (Keep in mind: We have to stay standing up.) Food and drinks is okay. Usually food is a hit or miss… One time, they forgot to add the shrimp to my fajitas and I had to wait an HOUR to get my shrimp…. Potatoes on “The Parrilla” were flavorless. I completely regretted ordering this off the menu. Same thing with checking out, it takes FOREVER to get someone at the register so I can pay my bill and head my way…
