Clean! Good and friendly service! Superior onion rings per my hubby! Reasonable prices. You won't leave there hungry, if you do its your own fault! I recommend the grilled chicken breast, comes topped with sautéed bell peppers, onions and cheese, and 2 sides for $9.99. Enough to share, or take home for another meal!

From a ginormous Southwest Salad to an all-American Patty Melt, this is a jewel of a place for serious food. Next time I'll try their Mexican fare, which looks inventive. Their salsa is freshly made, so I'm intrigued to sample the rest. Waitress Jackie gave us Hawkins history along with some light hearted laughs, including a short lesson on Aunt Jemima's origin and pancake legacy she left behind in Hawkins, TX. Will return for breakfast now, too!

I have to say it is by far one of the greatest family owned restraunt in east texas. 1st time I ate there had the baked chicken breast meal it was fabulous. 2nd time ordered the pork chop meal your given 2 chops salad,a side for $10.99 the chops are huge. Was able to make 3 meals out of it. Definitely will go back.
