Great food and friendly staff especially Barbara (Barbie), server. I requested chorizo with eggs, added polished sausage and OMG what a tasteful dish with this combination. Add salsa on top and you'll enjoy every bite! Thank you to Chips and the entire staff!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Equipped with old-school oldies playing in the background and comfy faux leather booths, Chips Restaurant was great! It was my first time out here in Hawthorne and I wanted something home style and not too filling. I ordered the Chilaquiles which comes with two eggs and beans however I subbed the beans for hash browns! The staff was kind, quick, and seemed to dote on their regulars. I ordered a strawberry lemonade and it came with nice chunks of fresh strawberries on the bottom and the waiter was kind to give me a refill and occasionally ask if I needed anything and if the food was good. It definitely was, chilaquiles weren’t overly spicy and eggs were sunny side up to perfection. I’m not in Hawthorne very often but I’ll definitely be back to visit! 💛
