Great bar/restaurant on the square in Healdsburg. Eclectic menu, with a lot of interesting small plates. It is easy to over-eat - three of us split five different plates, and there was plenty to go around. The truffle deviled eggs and duck appetizers were superb. Great service- sitting at the bar is fun since you can watch the action in the kitchen.

Excellent pasta - didn't feel over stuck-up or over-priced either (which is great for Healdsburg). Would definitely go back!

Great food and service. The restaurant offers great food, I had salmon and it was simply amazing and then we shared 3 desserts, the tiramisu, the mocha cake and the banana toffe cafe, those last 2 are highly recommended

Excellent food and service. Brunch was amazing - I had the biscuits and gravy, my friend had the burger, and we both had bottomless mimosas. We sat at the kitchen counter, and enjoyed lovely banter and conversation with the staff. After seeing several orders, I had to try the fried sticky bun with berry sauce. OMG!! I will definitely be back.

Very enjoyable visit. We stopped in after work with an old friend. Seated in a nice comfy booth, we enjoyed appetizers, cocktails, and entrees... Wish we at least perused the dessert menu but definitely didn't have room. As we we're asking for to-go containers for the rest of our entrees. Everything was great and we definitely enjoyed every bit of the food. We definitely want to return and maybe make it to dessert. :)

Came here for lunch and I have to say I was expecting more: after seeing all the yummy food in others' reviews. I would like to try dinner menu next time for sure! Giving 4 🌟 only because the menu was very limited. We had oysters, eggs mimosa, and bread & butter for appetizers and the flavour was lacking a bit. The hot pastrami sandwich was the bomb though. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely will try again for dinner 😊

The food was phenomenally good, and somehow, miraculously, it wasn't very expensive. We happened to sit next to a table full of locals, who happily participated in a toast, and then they gave us some great tips and information about the area. Tips for those passing through: 1. We made resos for a Sunday night, and we didn't really need to. They were pretty empty. The place has a great date night or intimate group vibe. 2. The patio weather in July was perfect. The patio only has two tables, so if you want to sit outside, probably make resos. 3. Don't be afraid to order the burger. It was awesome. Do get the bread. The salt/butter combination with the bread was exquisite. 4. Service was timely. There were only maybe 20 tables inside, so the place will fill up quickly on a Saturday I'm sure. We arrived 20 minutes early, and they seated us on a Sunday evening, though. So they seem pretty accommodating. 5. There's a bar next door that you can grab a drink at if there's a wait for your table.

I've always loved Shane's style and creativity as executive chef at Chalkboard and I was stunned at how he developed such a different menu (which is amazing) with a thoughtful and deveoped twist to some classics. Cocktails are fantastic...and don't miss out on their new brunch!!!

This place is exceptional. I went with my sister-in-law and we had a blast trying out a bunch of different items from the menu. While all dishes were phenomenal one dish really blew our minds, and that was the brussel sprouts with lemon aioli. Who would have thought that dish could be made to be amazing!?! The other dishes met extremely high expectations, but this dish surpassed them. I do wish I would have had a chance to try the rabbit pot pie. They didn't have it on the menu, and I love pot pie. They did have a wild mushrooms one though, and I wasn't complaining! I must also add that the service and ambiance was excellent. Our server was attentive, without truly disturbing our dinner. She also obliged me some "mocktails" which were tasty and appreciated. Finally, the dinnerware was a really nice touch. The plates all had their rabbit logo. This restaurant really pays attention to detail.
