Food was good, not over seasoned/salted like many places. Cooked just right. Price was great and service was excellent. We showed up just before lunch rush on a Saturday and had food in minutes. I also appreciated that the music wasn't too loud for conversation.

On July 28th, my classmates of Hempstead High/Sam Schwartz met and had lunch. It was amazing and our waitress was great. My family and I eat here often. We haven't had a bad complaint yet of what we have ordered.

We ordered a family sized meal that included salad, catfish, shrimp, french fries and hush puppies. Tons for food for a reasonable price. Our waitress was new but very nice and checked on us often. She was confused on the sides which they charged us for extra sides... I explained to the person checking us out which I believe was the manager but they just said they would talk to her. They did not remove the extra charge. I normally would have pushed the point but we had our grandson with us so I just paid it. Anyway, the food was really good and the waitress was good so I kept it at 4 stars. The manager/owner gets 1 star.
