Our group ordered popcorn shrimp, broiled grouper and fried whitefish, all cooked to perfection. Don’t miss the round hush puppies served hot! Portions are generous, prices are reasonable and service is fast. Large dining room accommodates large groups.
I came from florida for a visit and this is the first place I wanted to eat.. I still love this place. I miss North Carolina for this reason. I look forward to come back to eat here again. Keep up the good work.

Grouper Luncheon. LUnch today was the Grouper sandwich and it was terrific. We both had it and couldn't be happier. Served on a Hogie Roll with fresh tomato, lettuce and your choice of sauces. Fresh home made fries were a great addition. Very reasonable as well.
Love the seafood!. I live in Hendersonville and we eat at Bay Breeze quite frequently. My boyfriend states it's the best seafood in the area; his parents owned and operated a shrimping business in Beaufort, SC, so he knows a thing or two about fresh seafood. I have rarely, if ever, had a bad meal here, and the servers are friendly, quick, and efficient. Given, the seafood is not as fresh as if you lived by the sea, but for the mountains of WNC, it's pretty damn good! I always get the jumbo fried shrimp, and either the white fish, grouper, and I've tried the tilapia too; all great! My boyfriend usually gets the scallops and grouper, or whitefish. Also love the crab legs! D-lish! I will say though, that I'm not too impressed with their baked seafood, but the fried seafood is fantastic!
Opilio heaven. We like to go to Bay Breeze on Wednesday nights, when they offer all-you-can-eat snow crab legs for about $30 per person. We get our money's worth. There have been times when the meat pulls right out of the shell and other times when the crab was a bit overcooked. But in each case, the owner has been very gracious and welcoming of criticism as well as praise. My wife also likes to stop by and get the to-go boxes on the way home from work; the whitefish is one of our favorites, along with the fried shrimp. As I recall, Bay Breeze does offer each of its entrees broiled or baked, because we don't eat a lot of fried food. All in all, one worth going back to.
Ok so first off I ate waaayyy too much. The plates of food were humongous. The salmon plate had 2 giant pieces of salmon. The platter had fried fish, popcorn shrimp, giant shrimp, hush puppies and coleslaw not to mention your additional side. Plain and simple if you want some real good sea food go to Bay Breeze. Oh yes, they also have steak, burgers and other food besides sea food. You won’t be disappointed.
The food was just as delicious as it was over 10 years ago, if not better! Carolyn was our waitress and she was very attentive and hospitable! We will be back!
Old school seafood place with a few updates. I love an old school atmosphere, which this place delivers in spades. The food was good, but not good enough to justify the prices, which have outpaced inflation, to say the least. Our server, Eric, was excellent. The selection and quality of desserts is likely the best redeeming quality of this establishment, bringing it from a 3 to a 4 in my book. I could not finish the slide of German chocolate cake that I ordered & thoroughly enjoyed nibbling on it for the rest of the weekend. Plenty of free parking.
It was a very busy Sunday when I came Line of people waiting Ordered Fried Platter Combo with catfish and tilapia Comes with hushpupies and side (fried okra) And a plate of fettuccine with shrimp The fried stuff is fine But the shrimp that came the pasta was obviously frozen shrimp Has a rubbery texture to it
But service was.awesome
Excellent! The food was great. Our waiter Tyler cool as hell. The atmosphere was inviting. When you have a line of people waiting to go in you know you're in the right place. Awesome experience.
Went all fried... not the healthiest, but they did a good job. Kids loved it! Service was surprisingly good for being under-staffed the night we went. Waitress was pleasant and had a great attitude, which unfortunately, is all too uncommon these days. Good local joint.. 👍
Believe it or not this is one of the few places I found that still has fried chicken livers on the menu. They also have a decent selection of seafood as well with options of both fried or broiled.
Staff has always been friendly and attentive even when slammed busy.
They have the best seafood bisque as well and would recommend you get a cup to go as the portion sizes of their plates are huge.
They do have large rooms available for large groups and we have celebrated several birthdays here over the years. Do call ahead for those rooms though.
We had a very nice meal. Everything was hot and delicious. Our waitress, Nicole, was so pleasant and friendly. I would certainly hire her, if my business was here. Great atmosphere. Will definitely return next year.

We always enjoy the food and service at Bay Breeze, it’s very good, but we were a little put off to find that their military discount did not apply to the veteran’s whole check (for the whole party), but only to his individual meal. We found this upsetting, and tacky. If the veteran is paying the bill, he should receive the discount on his entire expenditure. We have never encountered this anywhere else.
