Read's Ice Cream - Henrietta - Photo album

Pretty good ice cream, but highlight was being able to mix two flavors on a “single” cone.
The ice cream here is very smooth and for a cheap price. You can get up to four scoops, and they are very generous with each scoop. Plus they even filled the cone all the way instead of leaving those annoying empty spaces. Service is friendly and great. Would highly recommend anyone in the area to v
My first experience here was with outdoor service and seating and they seem to be handling it very well. There was ample parking and for being right off of a major road the atmosphere was nice. My friends and I ended up staying for awhile enjoying our ice cream and chatting. The service was quick an
The ice cream is amazing, sizes are big and employees are nice. The owner is not so friendly, he was annoyed that I paid with a card instead of cash because "they pay $7000 in credit card fees every year". I told him I would try to remember to have cash for next time, but he was still cold toward me
Great selection of homemade ice cream and custard. They make their own waffle cones and bowls and from the time you open the door you're drooling from the smell. Every April they do a crazy combo and put in flavors not normally found in ice cream such as chili, hot dogs, and beans. Family owned and
It was a cute little shop that served some absolutely delicious ice cream. The staff was very polite and friendly. Make sure you have cash on you when you go there, but I promise the desserts are well worth the extra trip to the ATM! Would highly recommend if you're in the area!
We love Read’s! It’s homemade ice cream, which is so much better than going to an ice cream place that serves Perry’s or some other brand you can buy at the grocery store. That makes no sense to me. Read’s flavors are great. My favorite is Orange Chocolate. The owner is such a nice guy, and always t
Love stopping at Read's. I hear they may be closing soon. The orange chocolate hard ice cream is fantastic. They have ice cream cakes for your special occasion needs and soft serve if you prefer. They prefer cash but, do take credit cards.
Mom and Pop ice cream parlor. Immaculately clean, well maintained, friendly service. The ice cream by the way... quite excellent with a variety of flavors. There is hard, soft, and custard offerings. I highly recommend the strawberry!
We love Read's ice cream. Homemade almond joy, mint chocolate chip, and cookies and cream are our favorite flavors there. Homemade waffle cones are so good they sometimes run out. Nice to have option to eat at inside tables, or outside in gazebo.
I ordered an ice cream cake for my sons 5th birthday party. I was nervous how it would turn out because the boy whom I spoke with on the phone didn’t seem very knowledgeable about their ice cream cakes and the website would not allow me to order online. The website said their ice cream cake came wi
Best soft ice cream around. Wife wanted to go to Read's after it wedding anniversary dinner, she and I like Read's that much. We considered getting a special dessert at the restaurant, but Read's was our ultimate choice.
Awesome Ice Cream shop that is just around the corner. The Reads make excellent ice cream with a lot of variety. While I don't indulge too often, every time we go it is a treat!
New ownership. He has big plans and I cant wait to see it. I was already impressed with his chocolate orange flavor, very unique which I haven't tasted anywhere else. So this being in place already before he even started his big plans, cant wait! After tasting the unique icecream he had, he IS
