Great food, great Souther style service, VERY reasonable prices!

Seafood Place. This was quite a little surprise for me. the restaurant is located in with a hotel right off the interstate. The food was good and the price was right.

There was a crowd and appears to be a pretty local attendance. The servers seemed to recognize most of the folks and there was some good chatter in the dining room.

Once of the most interesting things was the appt of shrimp cocktail. The dish is actually a dish of small shrimp that have been boiled and chilled and all placed in a bowl with crackers. Add the cocktail sauce and you have some good eats.

In addition I had the scallops, fish and stuff crabbed. The crab was maybe just a bit shy on crab meat but I was already getting full from the appt!
Price was also right as I think I was out the door for around $22.00 in total.

Good Seafood and Service and Right off I-40. Coming back from Hickory last night, I decided to give this place a shot. It's assoicated with a hotel and I'm genreally a little leary of hotel restaurants but this one appears to be independent from the hotel and a totally separeate entity from what I can tell.

That said, it's a good place from seafood even though it violates one of basic ideas that it's had to get good seafood more than a couple hundread of miles from the Ocean. The season here was fresh and very will prepared. Prices are very good and the service is outstanding.

Even though I'm from the area, this restaurant iw perfect for the traveler coming through on I-40. It's on Farigrove Church Rd, less than half a mile South of the jcu with I-40 so easy on and easy off. Would recomment to anyone coming through the area who likes good seafood with good service and an excellent value both monetarily and in terms of your time.uh
