Riptide Restaurant Hollywood

I loved our stay here except for a few things. The tiki bar downstairs is awesome with a mix of locals and tourists. There are 2 bands a day. You can hear them from the beach! Every singer and band was awesome. Kudos to the booking coordinator. Our room, 26 on the second floor was spacious with windows on both sides. The dresser drawers don't open smoothly. The fan in the room doesn't work. But the AC was strong. The door is a mess. The lock doesn't turn easily and the door is jammed. Hotel tried to fix it but it was never normal. Looks like the door was messed up by high winds and the hinges over stretched. I slept like a baby. The bed is comfy and the blanket is awesome. Im looking for it on Amazon and can't find it. It's super light weight, breathable but insulates just enough in a cool ac room. We got a king with 6 pillows that had different densities and pile. Loved this. We both got pillows that we liked. I think there were bedbugs because the side I sleep on had a bunch of bug bites. There is no pool but the beach is right there and the music beats a pool hands down. Kinda far from all the food joints by margaritaville but it's walkable or take a circuit ride for $2. Wish I had a working door but will be looking to stay there again.
