We celebrated my parents anniversary this past weekend at Melvins. It is indeed a hidden jewel in Houma. The food was outstanding and the service was beyond words. I highly recommend Melvins for your dining pleasure. Will most definitely return

I had my wedding there - ceremony and reception - and couldn't have been better-pleased. The food and service were excellent as was the atmosphere. We had zero problems, and I would recommend Melvin's to anyone!

Love Melvin's!! Great food and atmosphere! From lunch to dinner, I am always satisfied! I have been to many events there, and have always walked away feeling like I just left home! The owner is down to earth and always welcoming!

Some if the tastiest fresh fish is here. Just caught. Hsppy service is here too. Enjoy the view and a delicious cocktail.

The pace is a little slow here. The atmosphere is cozy overlooking the water. The food is comfort like and cooked to enjoy.

Melvins is a restaurant that i enjoy going to for a lovely place and good food. The service is always very nice. I had the oyster spaghetti and my husband had the chicken Alfredo. They weren't skimpy on the oysters.

The food, the service, and the atmosphere were great!!! I had the corn and shrimp bisque, the veal maison, and the white chocolate bread pudding! I recommend all of them!!!! Amazing!!!
