Comfortable place w the look and feel of a seaside joint. I dropped n on a Thursday night for dinner w friends and it was easy to get seated. They have a small comfy bar to wait n while meeting friends. I like the sauces they have to go w the two choices of oysters. We had grilled redfish and trout and it was fresh, w generous portions...we all wished we had asked for much less butter on the fish or non at all as the fish was plenty good w o it. The pecan pie and key lime were both yummers! Unfortunately, even though our service was friendly we often were completely unserved and the wait to get drinks and each course was way too long...maybe we just dropped n on a bad night. I love the Papas family of eateries but felt this locale needed some attention.
Our meal was great. We sat at the bar and really enjoyed ourselves. But when it was time to leave, we discovered we had become victims of smash and grab crime, in broad daylight.
Someone reported the crime to the day supervisor, who told my husband she called the police. But for as long as we were there, no police showed up. The day supervisor offered us a drink, hmmmm. Oh, there is a sign on a lamp post, close to where we were parked, that states this property under video surveillance. Well, when my husband asked the day supervisor about the cameras, she told him she didn't know where they are located. Uhh, yes, there is surveillance of the parking lot all right -- by the SMASH AND GRABBERS!

Whenever I’m up north running errands for my mom, this is a must stop for lunch! One of my favorite things to eat are lobsters! And I got quite a huge one! I think it was a 5lbs lobster so the claws were huge! As big as my hand! And it was oh so delish! Cannot wait to come back. I love seafood and this place has pretty much everything I want! Fresh shucked oysters on the half shell, shrimp cocktails, crab fingers, etc. Never left disappointed.
Excellent service and the seafood was fresh, perfectly fried and delicious! The family and I really enjoyed our dining experience & look forward to returning!
OMG - the portions, really? Are you bringing me that much food? Had the Ginger Salmon. Boom and the appetizer was huuuge. We'll be back because the dessert tray looked amazing too.
