Delicious homemade food. Great staff and great lunch atmosphere. Chicken fried chicken and cooked cabbage never fails. I ordered my holiday pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving as well.

Treebeards has been around for more than 30 yrs. It is still as good as the very first time I tried it back in the 90’s. The cafeteria style is fast and the food is amazing. The fried catfish and red beans & rice are the best you will find anywhere. This place is an institution. I hope it continues to be around for many years to come. The people that work here are SO nice…. and all the desserts are wonderful!💕💕

The food was good, just not as good as I remembered. I ordered Chicken fried Chicken with Mashed potatoes and gravy; also broccoli and carrots. And chocolate cake. The food was hot, which was great! The chicken needed salt, which surprised me. The gravy was delicious and the vegetables also needed salt. I was a little disappointed in the chocolate cake because the icing seemed a little thin. It was always my favorite before. I had a little difficulty in figuring out the difference in what you get for $10 versus $15. Finally became clear and was able to make my choice clear to the servers. My husband really liked the bread and butter and ate lots of it. Their hot sauce is good, too. I love their ice because it's not hard.
