Great people, awesome authentic home-style German food, big selection of all things German, including German language music and videos. The only thing to remember is that this is NOT a full-menu restaurant. It's more of a bakery with a modest (yet fabulous) cafe' in it. I must point out that the potato salad (warm German style of course) is to DIE for!! I could eat the potato salad as a meal, and would be completely happy with that! These folks even offer custom birthday and special occasion cakes. 😋 My advice is to try this place sometime. You won't be disappointed! 👍 🇩🇪

Stopped in for the first time today and was completely blown away with the amounts of amazing looking food and top notch customer service. I probably spent an hour in this store just enjoying all of the foreign collectibles. This place has a very old school home style feeling and the pastries are absolute bliss. Everything I wanted I was able to sample and nothing was dry like your average pastry sections. I cannot wait to get back and try some more. Thank you everyone at Heidelberg Haus!

What a gem!! My husband was on a job near here a few weeks ago and a co-worker suggested they have lunch here. He went on and on about it when he got home from work that day. So yesterday he decided that I needed to experience in person what he was talking about. Oh, my!! Was I ever surprised and impressed! Nothing to complain about - the food was excellent. I had the currywurst and everything on the plate was wonderful - especially the potato salad! The menu selection is small but very adequate. Great service! Loved that you're setting in the actual store/bakery. So many collectibles/gift items to look at! And the bakery - wow!! After the wonderful meal, it was difficult to make a decision on desert but we ended up with a half pound variety of cookies. It would be worth the 45 mile trip just for the cookies alone! Looking forward to our next visit!
