I came here with my cousins who were visiting from the South, where you definitely get great fried chicken and they couldn't stop raving over it. I am not a great fan of fried chicken but upon there insistence I tried a piece and it was truly the best fried chicken I had tasted in a long time. I had the shrimp and pasta which was just fantastic, very flavorful with a truly fresh taste. Actually, not one person in my party complained about their food. I feel that you get great food when it's cooked with love; and I feel like there was lots of love poured into the preparation . I will be returning.

The food was delicious and fresh, which means it could take a few more minutes than expected. It's a small place, with maybe 8 tables or so, so don't be surprised if there's a wait. The young ladies who took my order and brought out my food very attentive and checked on me periodically to check how the meal was and refill my coffee. Yes, you won't pay some low diner-type prices here, BUT the price was absolutely reasonable considering the portions and taste. If I'm in town again, I will return.

Friendly service and the breakfast fare is good. Some may have issues with the so-called slow service, but it can be tied to dealing with customers who are demanding. The staff handles them with professionalism and courtesy.
