I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that these reviews are based on the “hype” that social media created. This is a small business that received unexpected attention. Nobody forced y’all to stand in line and wait. You chose to wait. It’s a small business. Allow this business to adjust and figure out a solution to the problem social media created. Also, suggesting another restaurant under a review is tacky. If you don’t like the food, move on.
Very good, I ordered the Egussi, mixed meat stew, meat pie, and jollof rice. I really don't have anything to draw from because it was my first time ordering Nigerian food from a restaurant but I liked everything that I ordered. In a time when small businesses could really use our patronage, I would definitely return and try some other items on Veronica's menu.
I will be back!! Excellent food, customer service!! I felt like I was at home--so warm and inviting. Thank you all for making me feel so welcomed!!
So good! Reminded me of my childhood:) I haven’t been able to have fufu and stew in forever, and it was just amazing being emerged back into the culture. The chef needs a raise for her remarkable food, and the amount of mouths she is feeding. Would rate higher, but I can’t! 11/10 stars
My first time trying Nigerian food. I got the goat, rice and plantains as suggested by a friend. I was pleasantly surprised to see how fresh and authentically prepared the food was. Felt as if I was eating a home made meal.
