Empress of China has been in Irving for over 40 years.... still great food, good service. Wish the atmosphere didn't seem so dark and old. We love the Moo shu Chicken, best plumb sauce! Egg Roll was HUGE and delicious!

Literally the best Chinese food! I’ve been going here for over 13 years and I’ve never been disappointed with their quality of food. Always hot whether we dine in or carry out. My family and I travel 45 min to 1 hr just for their food. No other restaurant can beat the flavors Empress offers!! Please keep this restaurant open. I will be devastated if it closes. A lot of the bad reviews on here seem unnecessary. People need to give grace and be empathetic. Restaurants are struggling. The owners are good people and always greet us. They’ve seen our kids grow up just by how often we go there.

Been coming here for years. Dined in many times, usually order takeout 🥡 these days. Food is always tastes fresh since it’s always busy. Must try! You won’t be disappointed.
