I'm one of those people who can't discipline herself to bring lunch to work, so I often leave for the hour and find some local place to dine. I recently took a job in the same building as the Pit Stop, and while I thought, "Oh, that's nice, I may eat there some of the time", I find myself eating there every day. I've never had a bad meal, tho I didn't care too much for all the cheese on their 6 cheese lasagna, but hey - if you are a cheese lover, you'd love it. :-) They've been accommodating to substitutions or items not on the menu, such as "Hey, can I have a couple pieces of toasted rye with my fruit bowl?" The choice of coffee is good too, featuring regular, decaf, and pecan.
While my employer supplies unlimited Keurig cups, I still find myself stopping for a pecan coffee in the morning (they also have several different kinds of creamer.) So, for the price, most anyone can find something here, whether you want something artery-clogging or healthy. (Today's feature is a prime rib dinner or sandwich, and I'm purposely putting off having to leave at lunch to run a chore for this!!)
Hospitality is great, and while they have a ton of high schoolers show up for lunch, they get them through quickly as most have placed their orders ahead of time. So if you show up and there is a line, just wait - it will not be there long.
Plus, their prices are VERY reasonable!
