Coming out here from California with high expectations of mexican food, i have to say this place is by far the best in Johnson City. Their portions are huge and everything i have tried has been delicious. I highly recommend the Huarache with any choice of meat and their tortas are to die for.

I have a problem when people recommend a Tex-Mex place and they say the food is "authentic," but they don't really know what authentic means. Being of Mexican descent, this place is absolutely authentic! They never disappoint. Everything is made fresh and served hot. The right seasonings and spices used the old fashioned way like "abuela" (grandma) used to make, bring back memories of feasts made when special guests arrived. The menu is easy on the eyes with pictures of entres and prices. Try the agua frescas they're delicious.

This place never disappoints! Do yourself a favor and next time you're craving tacos, please skip the taco bell and go grab a $2 taco from these lovely people. Your mouth will thank you, you'll have supported a local business and you'll never want to eat a fast food taco again!
